Insurance Policy
You understand that:
- JC Lactation Counseling does not take insurance at this time.
- JC Lactation Counseling can provide a superbill suitable for you to submit to your insurance.
- JC Lactation Counseling cannot guarantee that you will get reimbursed for any amount that you paid.
- The superbill (which also serves as a payment receipt) will be coded appropriately to the level of service provided during the visit.

Get Acquainted Phone Call¹

This is 15-minute phone call to "interview" each other and assess to see if I could help with achieving your goals. This service is most appropriate for those booking a prenatal onboarding session, going back to work, transitioning to formula, and/or purchasing packages.
Prenatal Onboarding
$79 / 60 minutes
For 3rd-trimester expectant parents looking to establish a long-term relationship together.
I will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey by addressing your infant feeding goals, discussing normal newborn feeding behaviors/patterns, discuss how to establish a milk supply, describe nursing positions including what a proper latch looks like, answer your questions, and calm any fears about breastfeeding. This is your private breastfeeding class. A 20% discount will be applied toward 1 virtual video consultation.

Video Consultation
$149 / 90 minutes
Most appropriate for new clients requiring immediate breastfeeding/chestfeeding assistance and consultation.
We will discuss feeding concerns and your breastfeeding goals. At the conclusion of the consult, parents receive a care plan and a follow-up email or text message in the time frame specified in the care plan.

Follow-Up Video Consultation
$59 / 45 minutes
For existing clients with continued breastfeeding questions and concerns. Initial video consultation required in order to book this service.

Phone Check-In
$29 / 25 minutes
A quick check-in for clients who don't require a full consultation. Initial video consultation required.
Virtual lactation support using HIPAA compliant platforms.
Booking Procedures and Payment Policy
To schedule an appointment, please contact me here or send a text message at
347-948-5769 with your appointment preferences.
You will get an e-mail containing the following:
- A Stripe payment link
- Intake form
- Consent to care form
¹Clients agree to provide a valid credit card to be kept on file for the Get Acquainted service. This card will be charged $15 if phone call goes unanswered.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for services. Consent and intake forms must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment it. Be sure to check spam/junk mail for confirmation and login details. The remaining 50% is due at the time services are provided, unless other payment arrangements are made.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and reschedules must be made by phone call or text message at least 24 hours prior to our scheduled appointment time. If you cancel less than 24 hours before our appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.
If rescheduling less than 24 hours before our appointment, you will have 5 calendar days to make a new appointment. If your appointments is not rescheduled within the above stated time frame, you will forfeit your deposit. Deposits and fees paid for all provided services are non-refundable.
