Get Acquainted Phone Call

This is 15-minute phone call to "interview" each other and assess to see if I could help with achieving your goals. This service is most appropriate for those booking a prenatal onboarding session, going back to work, transitioning to formula, and/or purchasing packages. Limited to one session per person.
In-Person Consultation
$249 / 120 minutes
This session is most appropriate for parents requiring immediate hands-on breastfeeding/chestfeeding assistance and support.
We will discuss your feeding concerns and breastfeeding goals to help solve your lactation challenges. After your appointment, you will receive a simple plan of care based on our discussion, follow-up email, phone call, or text message in the time frame specified according to your needs.
Service areas: Bronx, areas north of 110th Street in Manhattan and East Harlem to 96th Street.
Location: At your home
Virtual Consultation
$149 / 90 minutes
This session is most appropriate for parents requiring immediate breastfeeding/chestfeeding assistance and support.
We will discuss your feeding concerns and breastfeeding goals to help solve your lactation challenges. After your appointment, you will receive a simple plan of care based on our discussion, follow-up email, phone call, or text message in the time frame specified according to your needs.

Prenatal Onboarding
$79 / 60 minutes
For expectant parents looking to establish a long-term relationship together or those needing a personalized breastfeeding class.
I will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey by addressing your infant feeding goals, discussing normal newborn feeding behaviors/patterns, discussing how to establish a milk supply, describing nursing positions including what a proper latch looks like, answering your questions, and calm any fears about breastfeeding. This is your private breastfeeding class.

Payment Policy
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for services. Consent and intake forms must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment. The remaining 50% is due before services can be rendered unless other payment arrangements are made. If the balance is not paid before the start of our session, your appointment will be canceled and must be rescheduled.
Insurance Policy
You understand that:
- Our services are self-pay only and JC Lactation Counseling does not take insurance at this time.
- A superbill suitable for submittal to your insurance for potential reimbursement can be provided after your visit. We cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and reschedules must be made at least 24 hours before our scheduled appointment by phone call, text message, or e-mail. If you cancel less than 24 hours before our appointment, you will forfeit your deposit. If rescheduling less than 24 hours before our appointment, you will have 5 calendar days to make a new appointment. If your appointments is not rescheduled within the above-stated time frame, you will forfeit your deposit. Deposits and fees paid for all provided services are non-refundable.
